Candace Sewell
Registered Service Assistant
Candace joined Falcon Financial & Insurance Solutions, Inc. in August of 2016. She has a degree in Business Management and over 20 years of experience in various areas of insurance and securities. Prior to working at Falcon, she worked in Scottsdale, AZ and Diamond Bar, CA as a Client Services Representative and New Business Coordinator.
Candace married her husband, Ryan, in 2013 and they have two daughters, Rosalie and Savannah. They moved their family to Eagle River, Alaska in June of 2022 and are enjoying their explorations of the beautiful state.
Jamie Wyatt
Registered Service Assistant
Jamie is a proud Middle Tennessee native, born and raised in Brentwood. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2002. Although her early passion centered around children and families, Jamie’s career path took an unexpected but rewarding turn into insurance and finance.
In 2008, she became Director of Investor Relations for North America at Fresenius Medical Care, a global leader in dialysis services. She later served as a Managing Partner at Modern Woodmen of America, a fraternal financial services organization, where she continued to grow her expertise in leadership and client relationships.
Recently, Jamie felt called to return to her original passion—serving children and families. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University, with the goal of making a direct impact in her community through counseling and support services.
Outside of her professional and academic life, Jamie serves as the Youth Director at her church, mentoring over 30 middle and high school students. Whether cheering from the sidelines at games, attending performances, or organizing youth events, she invests deeply in their lives. Jamie is also a proud aunt to five nieces and nephews and takes her role as “Fun Aunt Jamie” very seriously.
Karmina Baldwin
Licensed Servicing Assistant
Karmina was born in Mexico City, but grew up in Fresno. She has moved to different cities throughout her life, even back to Mexico for a year. Karmina and her family made the move to Salt Lake City, UT!
She loves helping people and began sharpening her customer service skills at the young age of 18, starting in an insurance office. She is fluent in Spanish and ASL (American Sign Language), which allows her to help more clients. Karmina has been with Falcon since 2018.
Karmina and her wife Lacie have a busy household with 6 dogs! Rescuing dogs and finding them forever homes is a big passion of Karmina’s. She also volunteers at youth detention centers, mentoring young people to help them get back on track. When she’s not rescuing dogs or volunteering in the community, she loves to cook and hike! She is known for her amazing Mexican food and has been told to open a restaurant but helping people and dogs take up all of her time.
Mackenzie Brum
Licensed Service Associate
Mackenzie joined the team as a Licensed Service Associate in March 2026. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Planning from California State University, Monterey Bay in June 2024. Originally from the small Central Valley town of Los Banos, California, she now resides in the Fresno area and brings seven years of experience in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining the team, Mackenzie worked in a variety of financial services roles, including insurance, banking, and supporting financial advisors at multiple firms. Her diverse experience has given her a strong understanding of the details that help bring financial plans to life. She enjoys assisting clients through important service requests, account updates, and administrative processes, ensuring every step is handled with care, accuracy, and attention to detail. Mackenzie is passionate about creating a positive client experience and helping clients feel supported throughout their financial journey.
Family is at the heart of everything Mackenzie does. As the youngest of seven siblings, she remains very close with her family and values the time they spend together. She and her partner Jessica share a dream of building a family compound where their loved ones can live close together and spend more time making memories. They also have a special place in their hearts for animals, especially their dog, Gizmo, and consider every family pet part of the family.
Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, backpacking, kayaking, camping, off-roading, and exploring California’s mountains, lakes, rivers, and coastline with family and friends. She also enjoys deep-sea fishing with her father-in-law, who introduced her to the hobby. Mackenzie and Jessica are self-proclaimed foodies who love trying new restaurants and experimenting with new culinary creations at home.
